On September 28, 1972, Paul Henderson scored the winning goal with less than one minute left in the 3rd period of the final game! That moment has been been deemed to be "the most important event in Canadian sports history". In 1997, to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of this event, Paul Henderson, in co-operation with both the Royal Canadian Mint and Canada Post Corporation, created a variety of memorabilia. One of them was the Collector's Gift Set! It sold for $39.95 and contained the following: - A quality black Hanes sweatshirt (size XL (46-48) (But's more like a medium/large size) - a silver-inked puck - a 8.5" by 11" Limited Edition print - a stamp booklet containing 10 hinged stamps - a wrapper for the outside of the box - and a Certificate of Authenticity. Each item, except the Certificate, has an artist's rendition of the goal and or team hug, as well as a mechanical reproduction of Paul Henderson's signature. I only have one set left. It is now 23 years old (the 50th Anniversary of this event will occur in September, 2022). I am selling it for $60. [Note: The stamp booklet with stamps are being sold by stamp dealers, collectors, etc, sometimes for as high as $95!] Also available: one (1) single sweatshirt from these kits: $20.00 - it is marked size XL but is generally a large size. Also available: Limited supply of booklets containing the 10-hinged stamps that came with Collector Gift sets. Selling booklets for: $35 for one (1); three (3) for $100; five (3) for $150.
